The Rainbow Ghost Method.

Big feelings often show up in the body before children have words for them. The Rainbow Ghost Method starts with a physical sensation, connects it to a possible feeling and returns to the body for support. The same feeling can show up differently for different children.

Together, these steps give children a simple, body-based way to respond when feelings grow big.

Support the body through movement, breath, pressure or touch.
